IMO the mother has abandonment issues. Not sure but something is telling me the kid's bio dad maybe left them so she leaps from one man to the next and when DP says we can get your daughter the help she needs her first thought was but she's leaving me again. NO the first thought should be thank you, I will do whatever it takes. Also, that new man needs to seriously think about his son. Even though it was brought up by the daughter and DP he doesn't pass comments. And it was all about him him him, what he did to find this child what he went without etc. Not about the worries that the mother went through but how he did this that or the other, something that the bio dad glossed over and wanted to speak more about his child. Hats off to the kid's bio dad though, he admitted he had let his daughter down but wanted to make amends.
When did Steve ever say that the fiancé was at fault for the step dads suicide? When did the daughter every say that? The ONLY thing that was proclaimed was that their relationship may have started before the suicide happened. That is all that was said. The fiancé just admitted to that. So what daughter assumed was true and it bothers her. She is 15!!! There is nothing wrong with the mother and fiancé starting a relationship even if the mother was still living with the step father if they weren’t together anymore. But the daughter is to young to understand. She probably didn’t know that her mother wasn’t with her step father anymore. That’s a huge change. That’s a lot at once. The biological father is very immature. The mother and step father has done nothing wrong. This episode is suppose to shine light on situations like this. Not about three people not being able to co-parent. So I get why the step dad is mad. The bio dad said some stupid shit that has nothing to do with the little girl. Take it to court. Not to a tv show. The step dad and mother has nothing to do with what Zach did. They did not know. So the bio dad going after full custody because of that will not work. He will not get it. This poor girl doesn’t have her real dad, lost her step dad, had to welcome another dad, raped by the brother, lost her boyfriend, raped by another man….like come on now. How can the parent protect something they didn’t know about!!!? They probably thought the same thing my parents thought. Step sibling relationship when in all reality I was being raped the whole time. The parents talking about each other is not needed. Why is the mother apologizing. She didn’t do anything wrong. The story wasn’t going the correct way and she wasn’t the one that stormed off. Her fiancé was and she was just following. If the rumor was told to the mother, something should’ve been done. That is neglect on their part but the mother never answered to that. Was the rumor told to the mother? Does Russell truly know if they even knew about the rape? I don’t know if taking the daughter away at the moment is what’s best. She just got back. That’s a lot on the family. Do it in her state. Near her home. Involve the whole family the whole time.
I may be the only one who thinks this but i thought the 2nd stepdad (Britt) was a good guy for taking them out of a shitty situation & caring about them & i don't think he deserved to be attacked (no they shouldn't have walked off)....but in a way it's understandable when you didn't try to do anything wrong & you thought you were doing everything right & you never meant to hurt the girl & you did everything you could think of to find her without stopping but the biological father just shows up after he was never there & just tries to take over & says NOW I want to be there for my daughter when he wasn't before????!!!! I'm sorry but Britt didn't deserve that!!!! The "adults" need to hash their shit out!!!!
I don't know here..I don't know if some of this is Manipulation... I normally would not say that about a child my gosh... But I don't know much of this she's using To suit her narrative...lord forgive me if I am wrong..I am not saying some of this Doesn't have something to do with it but some of this other stuff I don't know... and dr phil was putting his own thoughts into her mouth about the mom and how fast she moved on..I get it's weird but let her say it don't feed her the ideas
New stepdad seems The feel extremely guilty what's that about nobody accused him of anything? He automatically started defending himself therefore he looks guilty ! No wonder this young lady felt like she could not talk about her feelings because anybody says anything that this Narcissist takes as Something against him when nobody even said it had anything to do with him he reacts this way, You do not do things for people so that you can later throw it in Everyone's face and expect recognition constantly because you helped your girlfriend in her kids. You should do that anyway!! Talking about over exaggerating.,there is NO way he didn't sleep at all for a whole month !! Sounds like with him" its all about me, me , me" selfish!! Mom really needed a boyfriend 2 days after her previous boyfriend committed suicide. No wonder this poor girls screwed up in her feelings!! I hope Bio-dad gets his kids!!
