“For 11 years he has told me that he doesn’t want to get married and he doesn’t want to have kids”!! 2 weeks after he ‘gave-in’ & said he would marry her he started dressing like Bat Man....When someone shows you who they are believe them!
DISAPPOINTING! Dr. Phil pulled out all the stops for this couple, the best of the best... what was the point of them even being on the show? And his Dad... I mean, are these people real? Everyone's crazy if you ask me. What a waste! UGGH!



This woman has waited 11 years for this man and he’s just playing with her heart. She needs to just leave him she’s a beautiful woman who deserves so much better, has much as it hurts she needs to cut the cord if he’s not going to change because she deserves to be happy and he needs professional help.

A grown man, military veteran dressed in a Batman suit does not inspire confidence in most places. If Batman is how you choose to identify, you should move to New York. As long as you don't piss people off, you'll find a niche and good friends. Try the West Village, Chelsea, any artsy neighborhood. You can get an inexpensive permit and get paid for being Batman. You can charge for permission to take your picture. Lots of tourists, especially those with kids would love to have a photo opp with Batman. New York is much safer than formerly, but there are a growing number of petty pickpockets who prey on victims too distracted on their devices. I know I'd have been thankful if someone had stopped a woman from grabbing my bag on the uptown 3 train. I wouldn't care if he wore a Batman suit. What a great story for my nephews! Batman saved Auntie Marie's bag from a thief! People won't harass you in most of Manhattan. You'll get maybe one look, but not two. There are lots of people who look even stranger. With you, at least there's no question who you are! Hell, you'd even have a pretty good chance of meeting Batgirl. As for the young lady, please face reality. If Batman isn't who you want, give back the ring. Mourn your loss and move on. My sister was engaged to a man who really liked her, but as a friend. His love was for his boyfriend. The breakup was rough going, but both moved on to happy lives. She reconnected with a man she'd known as a teen in middle school. They and their three boys, 21, 13, and 11 just celebrated their 20th. Howie and Ivan finally tied the knot two years ago. They're considering adopting the two children they've fostered for 16 months. You are young, smart, kind, attractive, a hard worker, what's not to like? It never works getting married with the idea that the person will change or that you can somehow make them into your desired partner. I wish all of you the best in life!

This is sad...she needs to understand that he doesn't want to marry her and this is his very childish way to push her off. Just run girl and find an adult man that loves you and wants the same things that you do.

I mean look I'm an artist...if the guys gonna be batman he's gotta look good doing it. That's the cheapest looking batman I've ever seen! I didn't know batman had a belly, only had a stupid rubber mask, and an incomplete outfit. He's scaring his neighbors...

Dr Phil at the beginning of the episode: "Did anything happen within the past 6 months that might have triggered something like this?" The wife: "No, nothing! Thats why I came here to get your help with this!" The wife at the end of the episode: "Well hes been telling me for 11 years that he never wants to get married or have children, but I was hoping he would come around and we got engaged 6 months ago! I didn't think it was related but now I think it might be related!" Its kinda gross that she stayed with him for 11 years and expected him to change his mind on what kind of lifestyle he wants for himself. Hes been telling her since the beginning he doesnt want kids or marriage, why force it on him ? Gurl you can find an amazing guy who wants marriage AND kids why is this show even a thing lol

 My ex-boyfriend of 8 yrs had suddenly began to say odd things similar to this guy.  I felt at the time he changed overnight, but in hind-sight this change in his personality was over a 3-5mo time span.  Now instead of a comic character though, he honestly believes he's from some powerfully strong mob family and he was also given some kind of telepathic powers.

My only conclusion I've been able to process to what caused my ex's drastic personality change was something possibly had triggered suppressed memories from his childhood of painful physical or sexual abuse.

For the 8yrs prior he was your average young physically active guy who was always very sociable, too.  I would never have sensed this type of condition within him before.  Although he hasn't disclosed with me any medical diagnosis since he changed but I believe it's obviously due to personality disorder or possibly schizophrenia, but I honestly have no clue still.

 

I call BS on this one. He lives in a big house in a nice neighbourhood, unemployed for half a year. Hm, na I don't think so. She dresses up as Harley Quinn and they don't want any help because of the Labrador. It's all very silly, he's sitting there looking like a racoon and she's stating that she can't be with a mentally ill person (shitty thing to say btw). In reality, he wants to be famous on Instagram and she is genuinely ok with that. This was all a commercial for Phil's damned podcast. Really low.
