Dr Phil Show Feburary 8 2019 ♛ Is My Nigerian Boyfriend Scamming Me
I think there's a misunderstanding about the scamming. It sounds like he was introduced to the scamming industry, met some women, but ended up walking away. So he didn't scam anyone, but was close. Dr Phil says he changed his story, but I think it was a misunderstanding and language issues were part of it.
bloody hell, stop cutting off the end of the shows!!!  this has happened several times now and i'm sure that i'm not the only person who would like to see the end of the show in it's entirety...
So this guy is exactly who he claims to be, his neighbors describe him as a kind and genuine person, he's not talking to other women, his claims regarding safety have been confirmed by Ben, but Dr. Phil recommends she break up with him?

These women usually infuriate me but I really liked this lady. Get yourself down the bingo, tea rooms, shopping mall, park etc and find yourself some face to face company there sweetheart. And you're no tomato or fat fish!
If you are a silverfox you can always start over and find  a new love. If you are an elderly woman,  it´s a different ballgame. That´s why these women are vulnerable.

"Abokun" (aka "fat fish") is a great compliment. "Tomato" is used to refer to light skinned women in Nigeria. In other words, he was complimenting her. Fat fish is certainly not an insult - I just needed to clear that up.
normally I would be yelling at the screen "You're being scammed you poor idiot... run!"
But in this case I am really glad this gentleman proved he was who he said he was.
So what if he admitted he wants to go to America for a better life - So did YOUR ancestors Dr Phil!  I also think there was a language barrier misunderstanding with the scamming thing.  Sounded like they tried to recruit him and started teaching him but his kind nature and good heart won in the end
Chances are he will unfortunately leave her once he gets to stay in America permanently, so she should ask him to get the kind of visa that has an expiry date after a year or two, to see if his feelings are real.
I really hope it works out for her! 💕

Someone I used to consider a friend, she is hot, in her 20s... went to Jamaica and came back with a boyfriend like this, it was all a scam in the end. Of course he was doing that with other girls, that was his only source of true income, stuck on that island. He worked the ladies and saved up and went to the states, I think he stayed there illegally now at this point. This doesn't just happen to bigger or older ladies.
And I met my ex years ago online...I thought I knew him and understood him... the dude was juggling with people behind the scenes. Fuk that shit.

Victor was talking to my mom for a year and a half. Telling her how much he'd loved her and her wanted to marry her. He kept getting denied for his Visa and even tried to get my mom to write a letter to the U.S. Embassy. She didn't after she'd found out that he was talking to other women. He is a scam artist trying to scam his way to the states. Smfh I'm so glad my mom stopped talking to him. I was skeptical and told her that he was a scam artist after my mom would tell me that he was always asking her to marry him.
I didn’t quite hear what the sister Carmen said in the end. It sounded like she said that the Nigerian boyfriend said he was going to commit suicide if they broke up. Even if he seemed legit, that’s no way to treat someone you claim to love. He could be telling the truth when he talked to Dr. Phil but it seems like he could be emotionally hurting the woman. Calling her “Fat Fish” and a “tomato” sound like degrading nicknames. She deserves to be treated like a princess, not like a “Fat fish” .
This guy sees his only option to escape his life of poverty and get a green card to come to the US is to marry this woman.  How is this different than women from other countries who marry American men to get their foot in the US?  Its not.

I feel for these women. Society has brainwashed everyone to a point where many women basically believe that they cannot be loved if they are over 25 years old, over 120 pounds, or simply not what you see in the media. So of course women like her (if they have given into this flaw in society), who have just lost someone they loved, are going to go straight into denial because they are in a situation that is "too good to ge true", and they basically "need" it to be true because they believe nobody else will ever love them. They are lonely and in desperate need of companionship, so they are absolutely not going to allow themselves to feel the pain of "oh crap, this is all fake... this person teally doesn't care about me at all". It would be too much for them to bear. Heck, when I was in high school, I was a little bigger (not overweight) and a little less attractive (not ugly) than most of the girls in my grade and I allowed that to get the better of me, to the point where I developed an eating disorder (from which I am still struggling even though there is nothing wrong with my appearance) and many other psychological problems. I can't even imagine how I would have felt in her situation. This woman needs all the support she can get... from her family, a psychiatrist, a therapist, and some good friends to help her build the confidence she needs. She needs to know that no matter who or what you are, you can and will be loved by at LEAST a few people, and she needs to see that she is strong enough to live a good life, even without a romantic partner, because she is a great mother and a great friend.

Cash in cereal  boxes.... sorry but I guess I'm good because honestly even with the amount of money I have in savings I would send a dime to a man. If I cant first video chat your than see you in person first. Hell still I'm wary that's my rainy day funds. Sadly due to the stigma I would probably be wary of man from africa. I mean they don't even have to steal ppl pictures now a days. They go on the fact that these ladys are old and they are young and will be bnb happy to have a young man. Lol rather be single with alittle money than  with a man that asking em to sell my house cause he in trouble

HOW sad that she’s SO insecure, she believes him 😢  He IS cute & charming, but a scammer IS NOT a nice person. He CLEARLY wants a green card.
