The adoptive father seems pretty heartless. From what I'm seeing, both parents are completely lacking in parenting skills, especially when it comes to dealing with a daughter who very possibly has mental health issues apart from the drug use.

So her adoptive father only loved her conditionally, only while she was doing good and not making mistakes. This girl has mental health issues they should be looking after her by getting her help.

 

That obnoxious lady ignored every word Nick said. She couldnt wait to jump in and tell her version. Who does she think she is, telling Dr. P. Who can be on the show? She wasn't listening to him either. He should have tossed her off the show. She's too narrow minded. Lost cause.

No one realized that this young lady is biracial and probably had to hear her mother say how embarrassed she was by her daughters biological father. I'm sure her mothers behavior started long before she ever started using drugs.

So she didn't want her ex there because she is embarrassed that she was ever with a POS like him. but she doesn't think her opinion of the girls father reflects on how the daughter views herself?

3:36 in and I can tell she is as ungrateful as anyone can be. Just a preamble to the show. Does this mother take "any kind" of responsibility with how her child turned out? Just wondering. Will watch and make my opinion up later. The first 16 minutes wasted that Dr. Phil could've use to help this child more

what a lovely young woman. its really brave to just lay bare the odd things our minds can do. i suffer from panic attacks, and more than any medication- the truth and talking about it helped the most. knowing that you arent alone.... and i promise you aren't is a step. if someone has cancer, the whole family rallies around. mental health issues come into a family and they respond with blame and shame. i get that she shouldnt still be using anything- BUT HER BRAIN IS IMPAIRED. she isnt capable of making good decisions...

 

I think Dr Phil has tripped up here. The person on show was told a certain person would not be on the show, then he was on the show!!!without explaining to her why the arrangement was changed. Regardless of what Dr Phil says, she was told the "certain " person was on the show a

 

Ambivalence towards her child! I know...nothing I could do for mother...she could never be appeased! Hard to have the person a child is looking up to for it's survival ~ to constantly be fed negative affirmations instead of positive affirmations ~ leaves the child always a doubting contender with P.T.S.D. ~ hence acting out the abandonment issues by numbing them out through drugs ~ alcohol and sex!

Looking at the comments, it's obvious that none of you lived with a user, who is psychotic yet. Mom is abrasive, and where is daughter getting the money to buy drugs and travel from state to state. She has to let go of control, of which giving daughter money is a symptom. The stepfather? A program teaches that you can disconnect from someone who is harmful. Half a dozen years of waiting is enough for him.

 

Yet ANOTHER glaring example of how incompetent ww are at raising biracial children. They can’t do it. It’s all over YouTube, dr Phil, face the truth...TAKE a look. They KEEP making oow biracial children with bm and they KNOW they’ll be doing it alone. They let their family members call the biracial children racial slurs, they call them racial slurs. What a joke.

The mother didn’t want the world to see the bm bum she CHOSE to lay up with and procreate with because it was too embarrassing. Hilarious these ppl.

Thats awful how can this mother should of been opend minded.She was very inappropriate and very. Unprofessonally because she wasnt going too let others speak.She said she needs help For her daughter then she needs too shut up.and listen.And not ask for help sence she decided not too listen.And the mother should not even write too Dr.phill.then.

 

 

 

 

She has opened a portal for the demonic spiritual world to manifest themselves in her life. What she needs is deliverance and to seek Jesus with all of her heart. She is not mental. She is being used and is tapping into evil spirits but can be free. My prayers are with you and I hope you find that relationship with Jesus.
